Hover Bot Arena Game Guide

Objective

The objective of Hover Bot Arena is to progress through the levels by destroying other robots.

Controls

Move: WASD or Arrow Keys

Aim: Mouse

Fire: Left Mouse Button

Pause: P

Powerups

Objective Mode Tips

Kill x Opponents

Kill the number of opponents indicated to complete the level.

Kill (insert name of boss here)

Defeat the boss (the biggest bot in the arena). You will also have to defeat the other enemies in the arena to continue, but there won't be too many.

Survive for x Minutes

Staying alive for a certain amount of time while being swarmed by hordes of enemies...this reminds me of a certain sci-fi RTS that I won't mention here. Stay away from the enemies, but if they drop any powerups, especially health packs, **pick them up.** If you can't find the timer, it's in the bottom right corner of the screen.

General Tips

• Stay out of large groups of enemies. If you stay in one of these groups, you'll be subject to heavy amounts of damage.
• If an enemy drops a powerup, always pick it up, unless you're so low on health that you think it would kill you. However, if an enemy drops a health pack, take any measures necessary to get it, no matter how low your health is. Think of it this way: If you're about to die anyway, then you can either A) not get the health pack and die, or B) try to get it and die, or succeed and continue fighting. If your health is low, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
